Ocuvite Lutein is a formulation designed specifically for the eye. It helps reduce the risk of age related degeneration of the eye and thus eyesight. It contains lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin e, vitamin c , selenium and zinc. These are all powerful antioxidants except for the lutein. The lutein is an amino acid that has been shown to decrease in concentration in the eye tissue as one gets older. So supplementing the levels of lutein could help with slowing down age related eye degeneration.
