Caltrate 600+D helps maintain healthy, strong bones and teeth. It contains 1500mg of Calcium Carbonate which is equivalent to 600mg of elemental calcium. Caltrate 600+D also contains 400iu if Vitamin D which increases the absorption of calcium by the small intestines. Caltrate 600+D is normally taken to correct calcium and vitamin D deficiencies. It should be taken in the morning after breakfast.
